2. What data we collect and why

Contact, quote and reseller enquiries. When you email or call us (for example from the “Contact” or “Become a reseller” pages), we process the details you give us: name, contact details, business details (for resellers) and the content of your message. We use them only to answer your request and, if you wish, for the business relationship that follows. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Conversations with the “Mr. BARDaiL” digital concierge. The messages you type in the chat are sent to our server and processed by an artificial-intelligence provider (Anthropic) solely to generate the reply. The website does not store the chat history in a database. If you ask to be served by our team, a summary of your request together with the contact details you provide (phone or email) is forwarded to our team via a messaging app (Telegram) so that we can get back to you. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the chat. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in assisting visitors and, for the hand-over to our team, your request (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

Cookies and local storage. The website stores on your device only what is necessary for it to work, such as your cookie choice. Analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) are activated only if you give your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. Details in the Cookie Policy.

3. Recipients

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for their own purposes. Access is limited to the providers needed to run the website and the services above (hosting, the AI provider for the chat, the messaging app used to forward requests and, only with your consent, the analytics provider), who act on our behalf.

Where data is processed outside the European Economic Area, this takes place under the safeguards provided by the GDPR (such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses).

4. How long we keep data

Contact and reseller enquiry data is kept for as long as needed to handle the request and any business relationship that follows; it is then deleted, unless the law (e.g. tax legislation) requires a longer period.

Mr. BARDaiL conversations are not stored by the website; requests forwarded to our team are kept only as long as needed to assist you.

Your cookie choice stays on your device until you delete or change it.

5. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal. To exercise them, email info@bardahloil.gr.
